Pros: Adored my 6-night stay at Kubunaku! Peaceful serenity away from the traffic and noise. The newly built villas are modern and comfortable, with hot showers, crisp white linen, and soft towels. Rooms are cleaned daily, and the manicured gardens and pool are beautifully maintained every day — there’s really nothing to worry about here, just relax and enjoy. Breakfast is available if you prefer, however grab is also available for delivery. Kubunaku is Balinese family-owned and run, manager Sari and the attentive staff go out of their way to make your stay stress-free. You’ll love waking up to the sweet birdsong and the calm, natural surroundings. Owners Nick and Marissa make you feel like part of the family — I was even invited to their nephew’s 17th birthday celebration and shared a bottle of Bali wine with them on my second-last night. I’ll definitely be back 🙂

Cons: Leaving!

Pros: The Hotel was small and quiet, very clean and staff were friendly. Room was comfortable, nice swimming pool.

Cons: It was a little bit out of the way, about a 30 minute walk to main area. I would recommend hiring a scooter to get around.

A lovely place for a relaxing stay

Pros: We loved our stay at Kubunaku! The staff were very warm and friendly, and the room was very clean. Room had everything we needed and the bed/pillows were super comfy. The area is nice and quiet but still only a short walk to restaurants and the beach.

Pros: Very nice hotel. Small, human-scale. Shiny new building and rooms. Air conditioning is properly avoiding being directed to the beds. Atmospheric little garden with pool. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: We liked the small, intimate setting, the warm friendly staff and the clean, comfortable room. The pool was awesome!

Cons: The rooms would benefit from having more available power outlets or some kabel rolls available so that multiple devices can be charged without having to unplug the lights or the fridge. When we arrived there was only one pillow each on the bed. We were readily supplied with a second pillow each, but it would be a great touch if they just set the bed with two per person.
