Puri Mesari Hotel

Loved the hotel for vibe, customer service and relaxation

Pros: The staff and room was amazing. Plenty of room and loved the lounge for such a long stay. Spent a lot of time in my room on Netflix and reading due to the rain but I was after a quiet relaxing hotel to completely chill without a lot of tourist traffic and noise. Pool was large and clean, restaurant had great food. Internet excellent beds are very firm but linen fresh and clean and good quality

Cons: The outside bathroom was really inconvenient. Tons of mosquitoes due I expect to the rainy season. Unable to use the toilet or shower comfortably even with coils and plug in mosquito zapper. Bath had a bad leak between the bath and sink, overnight it became very wet and dangerous.

Fabulous peaceful haven in Sanur

Pros: Such a lovely peaceful setting. Courtyard and gardens are beautiful, 7 minutes walk to Mertasari Beach where you don’t get hassled at all. Poolside is so relaxing , the outdoor bathroom is great, and staff always friendly and welcoming.

A place that brings back great memories of what Bali use to look like

Pros: The staff were helpful & very kind. I love the ‘old Bali’, good food, wonderful swimming pool & a large room. I really liked the gardens with all the fish ponds

Cons: Their library was nearly all in German & French, I did find 1 English book

Pros: Fantastic stay at Puri Mesari, staff were very kind and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and tidy, loved the outdoor bathroom, beautiful swimming and tranquil gardens and ponds. Highly recommend.

Good affordable accommodation, would stay again

Pros: Good traditional Indonesian breakfast, good location out of the main hustle and bustle

Cons: Could address the musty mouldy smell, obviously due to high rainfall and humidity, fixed with some incense sticks

Cons: No water in the room. Restaurant menus was limited.

Pros: Very warm and welcoming Balinese style hotel. Beautiful friendly warm staff especially Linda. Thank you Linda for sourcing a cobek and ulekan for us. Very appreciated. Breakfast and coffee very good. Beautiful gardens and a wonderfully quiet location.

Good for couples or families who don't mind being a short distance from the central Sanur area.

Pros: This is a lovely property with a nice swimming pool and outdoor area. The room and bathroom were both spacious and the airconditioner worked well. The staff were all great! There are water filling stations in the reception area as well as downstairs in the restaurant, thus eliminating the need for plastic bottles. It was very quiet at night, which was great.

Cons: There are a lot of stairs which was not an issue for us, but wouldn't be suitable for someone with mobility issues. The bathroom was open air and there were heaps of mosquitoes which took every opportunity to get into the room. Mosquito nets over the beds would be great for a good nights sleep. It's quite far from the Sanur action, but if you like walking, or hire a scooter, this won't be an issue :-)

A BEAUTIFUL STAY! :)

Pros: We loved our stay here! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect with out us even asking, for example; they would leave fresh towels on our sunbeds when we were in the pool and we wouldn't have even asked The staff were all so smiley and lovely and it created such a beautiful atmosphere. We hired bikes from the hotel and biked to the beach we were at the start of the promenade here so loved being able to bike up and down the beach promenade :)

Amazing and lovely staff

Pros: Excellent place quiet location, staff were friendly and very helpful, we extended our stay a couple of times because of how good the value for money was, it’s only a 15 minute walk to the beach also

Cons: Nothing it was perfect
