Rumah Ananda Bali - Balinese Villa Umalas

Pros: Nicest stay my family has had in this area (not far from the Seminyak or Canggu) Sadly we were here only for two nights. The property is quite charming, living area is spacious, we enjoyed spending time at the pool and having in villa dinners here, host helped us with chef contacts. Definitely will be back soon.

Cons: There are mosquitoes but it is rainy season in bali so nothing much can be done on this one.

Pros: We had a really nice stay at this beautiful Balinese-style villa. It’s in a local neighborhood with a great coffee spot right across the road. The huge pool is magical at night, and the whole place is super peaceful—perfect for unwinding. A big plus was how kind and helpful the host and her team were. The villa itself is spacious and green, yet just a quick 10-15 minute drive to all the restaurants and beach clubs in Seminyak and Berawa.

Cons: Nothing really

Pros: The villa looks like in the pictures, a beautiful blend between modern and traditional. The outside space is very nice and comfortable. The pool was clean and big. Comfortable beds, clean sheets. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, very close to a nice coffee shop where we could have breakfast every morning. Also the people that take care of the villa were very nice and helpful.

Cons: One of the bedrooms (the small one) has no direct light so it’s pretty dark and difficult to air. Next to the villa there is a big resort under construction so the noise started from 7:30 am. Also, there was a problem with the pipes in the small bathroom, problem that the host was aware of and tried to fix but still there was a smell. Maybe they solved this for good after our departure. The host was understanding and we found together a solution for our situation for the rest of our stay. Considering these 2 issues, you might need to contact the host before booking.

Lovely place, would come back again next year.

Pros: It is our second time staying at this place. It is pretty close to all the places we usually go to in Cangu and Seminyak. The place is clean and beds are comfy, it’s got a nice balance between modern and rustic vibes. We did really enjoyed swimming under the pool lights in the evening again. The host also helped us to arrange floating breakfast this time around when we asked, that was pretty cool. Not something she advertised but we just asked out of curiosity and she was able to arrange it.

Cons: This time around, you can hear the construction next door from time to time, which wasn’t the case last year, but it didn’t bother us too much as it is a bit ad hoc.

Relaxing, with a side of fun in a villa with everything you need for your holiday.

Pros: Modern, clean and great location. Heaps of power points and some are universal which is super handy. Staff were so lovely and a pleasure to chat to. Main bedroom bathroom was stunning !

Cons: Only two pool towels provided for 4 guests. Both bathrooms do not have ventilation so they tend to get stuffy and smelly.
