J4 Villas Sanur

Had a wonderful time, can’t complain!

Pros: Everything was perfect. Pool was clean, lovely design and functional kitchen. They even surprised us with a birthday wish on our bed! Bed was so comfortable and the aircond worked well for a cosy night’s sleep.

Cons: The location was far to get around but Gojek and Grab made it easy. They could improve a bit on the cleaning and the living room couch might need a bit of upkeep. Kitchen could do with a maintenance of cookware and no salt and pepper were provided.

Pros: Outstanding villa. Pool cool which is nice in hot weather. Massive bed and so comfortable. The pillows were next level.

Pros: Comfortable & relaxing in a lovely tropical setting with total privacy. The villa is spacious & very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable. J4 is nicely located way from the congestion & chaos, surrounded by high end private villas in a quiet location. Short walk to the beach. Despite not having an onsite restaurant, there is a lovely restaurant about 100m away open all day, serving excellent meals in a lovely quiet relaxing Balinese setting. We arrived at J4 late in the evening & staff were on hand to welcome us. We would definitely be happy for a return stay!

Cons: No wine glasses, but the staff tried their best & found 2. Towels could perhaps do with a little bit of of freshening up. Sad to leave!

Amazing private villa in a quiet area

Pros: Lovely place with a private swimming pool, outdoor chilling area (tv with Netflix!), spacious bathroom, and comfortable bed. The staff is super helpful and friendly, communicated well via booking.com chat or later via whatsapp once we checked in. Extra bed for a child was set up on request (at extra cost). Daily cleaning was also provided. The place was amazing, we stayed for 5 days and I wish we could stay longer.

Cons: It's a good 10-15 minute walk from cafes and shops (there are a couple of food spots closer, but generally you'll have to walk for more options) and the beach. Especially if you're travelling with children - keep this in mind. It's just outside of lively areas of Sanur, but it also makes it very quiet and relaxing. Taxis (Grab/Bluebird) are easy to order and it makes it very easy to get around.

Excellence at its best. Would definitely go back.

Cons: If I had to pick on something…. There was nowhere to hang your towels in the bathroom.

Cons: Kitchen not well equipped. Had to ask for pool towels and dry bath towels. Bed was not changed.

Beautiful modern villa, situated in a quite street, a close walk to the beach and the boardwalk.

Pros: We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and it was lovely and peaceful. It had a great layout and both rooms had their own outdoor bathrooms. The beds were very cufortable and the bedrooms were very spatious. The bathrooms were nice and had an outdoor shower. The villa was modern and decorated nicely. The pool was great and we enjoyed laying on the comfortable loungers, watching the amazing kites fly over the villa each afternoon. The villa is only a short walk down to the beach and Sanur boardwalk. We ventured out both nights and walked the boardwalk and had dinner at the Bamboo Beach Bar and watched a traditional Balineese dance show. On the second night we had a delicious meal at Costa by Monsta.

Cons: There wasn't much not to like. Probably the only thing would be the level of cleaning. When we arrived I noticed there was a lot of hair over the bedroom floors and bathroom. So clearly it hadn't been vacuumed or mopped very throughly. Also the couch looked like it needed a good clean.
