Fantastic week, we cannot thank the staff at villa Bugis enough. They took great care of us, made us feel so welcome. Su
Pros: It had everything we needed, power adapters, umbrellas, push bikes, pool table & sound system, the staff were so friendly & made us feel so at home. The villa was very close to the beach, shops & restaurants, tucked away in a beautiful little lane way so it was quiet & we felt so far away from the noise. Very clean & tidy.

Villa Bugis December 2025
Pros: Quiet location. The pool was amazing Large rooms and open space suited my family Very close to supermarket,restaurants,beach and shopping Breakfast every morning was great and the staff were helpful and friendly There was resident frogs at night that my kids loved
Cons: Navigating the alleyways at night was challenging but manageable once you got used to it , maybe a more detailed map in the villa of how to navigate the area would help new people get around easier but other than that no issues

Villa Bugis (Santi) was a great place for a family group.
Pros: The villa has a great layout with the individual villas around the pool and the open common area. Like the semi outdoor bathrooms too. Convenient location, once you get your bearings in the back lanes. Staff very helpful with any issues that arose during our stay. They allowed us to arrange temporary pool fencing to be erected for the duration of our stay. Gave peace of mind with a toddler.
Cons: It could do with a spurce up. A coat of paint to freshen it up would make a difference. Should supply some pool floats, rather than having to hire them from an external provider at an inflated price.

Pros: The layout, the beds and the rooms were all absolutely amazing. The pool table and the foosball table were awesome too. The pool was incredible and lawn were handy. Private chef for breakfast and host readily available. So private. Great for our family (2A, kids 14,12,10.) being close to Bintang supermarket was a bonus.
Cons: Shower heads were a bit bad. Stains on pool towels- these were replaced without hassle. The walk to the beach was longer than I thought (about 15mins) and we needed to navigate laneways. It takes about 5 mins to walk to the Main Street.

Pros: Hidden away from the main busy shopping street but it was only a 10 minute walk from the villa
Cons: I liked everything about the villa. It also had a private massage room besides the 6 bedrooms with two private swimming pools

Excellent
Pros: This is our second stay with Villa Bugis and have enjoyed it both times, villas have everything you need for an extended stay, all staff are great and will take care of anything you need, or you can choose to do everything yourself. We stayed in Villa Rama and is close to Bintang Supermarket for supplies and not that far from the beach, restaurants and shopping also. The rooms, bathrooms, living areas and gardens are well maintained and clean, pool is a good size.
Cons: There's nothing to dislike
