Stay at Tekuni 2

Pros: The design that exudes calm and tranquillity. The large rooms.

Cons: 1. For the first four days, I was given threadbare towels that didn’t match the expected quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised when housekeeping later provided a high-quality, fluffy towel. 2. The presence of mosquitoes made it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep.

Pros: I've stayed a few times and every time it's great. Super clean and stylish. Highly recommended if you want to stay out of the chaos of legian and Seminyak but you do need a car or a bike.

Cons: No breakfast is a shame and staff struggle with English which is a bummer, other than that this would be my favourite \

Hidden Gem

Pros: A beautifully designed place minimalist place, blending a Japanese Ondonesian aesthetic with everything you need.

Cons: Not a criticism, but this accommodation is definitely more isolated, away from the beach and hustle and bustle. However if you are looking for peace and quiet this place is for you.

Beautiful boutique hotel

Pros: This property seems like a boutique hotel. It is really modern and has Bali vibes. The internet has good speed, smart tv with Netflix and all other streaming services. Quiet area.

Cons: The property a bit far from the main street and restaurants, but still can find some local restaurants nearby and convenience store. I would still stay here because it is still near to center and quiet area.

Pros: Very boutique Japanese style minimalist and so stylish. Architecture is so nice. For $45 a night it's just amazing value. Should be expecting to pay more I payed the same near double 6 and it was disgusting compared to this. Hands down the best budget place I have ever stayed in Bali. Beautiful in every sense. If u need long term I would stay here.

Cons: Not that I didn't like but it's 10 minute walk to Legian street. 3 minute on a scooter to the beach. Nice organic cafe two minutes away.

A+ excellent

Pros: Large spaciuos rooms with aircon and not overly busy. Bed was comfy and staff were great. Really relaxing.

Cons: Shower hot water only lasts 5 mins.

Secret hideaway in Legian, lovely pool, will be back for sure

Pros: Modern decor, great security, loved the Key pad door locks , large room

Don’t pay for a hot tub room unless you want a cold bath

Pros: Tekuni 2 isn’t an easy one to review. Its location isn’t the best - it’s inconvenient for most places - but I knew this before I made the reservation. I’m a fan of good design - this is what attracted me to the place, and it absolutely delivered. It’s a beautiful space with lots of detail you’d never expect at a comparatively low price point. So far so good.

Cons: We paid extra (circa IDR 450k for a 4 night stay) for one of the rooms with a hot tub. The one we were given was on the ground floor next to reception and the communal kitchen, and it was very dark. We asked for a different one - the only other one was on the far end of the top floor. We took it. It was far brighter, with a high ceiling built into the roof. But its high windows didn’t have blinds. I’m a bad sleeper anyway and this made it so much harder to sleep. And the walls were like paper. On our first night we had to listen to the room next door make a 30 minute zoom call on loudspeaker after midnight. Next night they were very vocally amorous at 1am. Don’t book one of these rooms if you want to sleep. As it turned out, you shouldn’t book one either if you want a good actually use the hot tub. The water was cold with barely more than 5cm in it! I complained and asked for a refund on the extra cost (the other rooms are identical minus the hot tub). It was promised, but never materialised. And finally, the WiFi was mostly poor and we were in a 4G cold spot.
