Pros: It’s always an amazing stay with the team from Matahari Bungalow! The staff are kind, welcoming and very helpful. Great meals and range of drinks, clean rooms with all the features you need to have a great holiday. My favourite part is hanging out with the team at the pool bar trying to learn as much Indonesian language from them as possible! Great location, value for money and a relaxing vibe, couldn’t ask for anything more.

Cons: Zero complaints.

Nice retreat in the Tourist hustle and bustle

Pros: Just 50 m away from busy Legian Street you enter well managed tropical retreat with a big pool. The garden, well cut lawn, old trees hold by wooden supports welcome you instantaneously. I once have been here about 20 years ago, the hotel now does its best to keep the place up-to-date, they are reforming their rooms, the new ones are almost impeccable. Good for families as well as for individual travellers. Good price for value.

Great location - tropical oasis

Pros: We love staying here. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The pool is nice and cool, and there is a pool bar. Breakfast is delicious. The property is set back from the main road so you don’t get the street noise. The gardens are beautiful.

Pros: Just a step in from busy Legian Street, Matahari Bungalow is a peaceful and quiet oasis in the heart of it all. The tropical garden is beautiful and relaxing, and the nice pool was perfect for unwinding after exploring. Staff were genuinely helpful, always smiling and quick to assist with anything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely Balinese feel. Great location close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Highly recommend – we’d definitely stay again!
