White Penny Hostel

Pros: Very clean, cheap, nice staff, great location, great value for money and it had comfy big beds. Being on the top bunk wasn’t an issue either because there were steps by the bed instead of ladders to climb up

Sooooo comfy

Pros: The most comfortable hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options to choose from. Bed was so comfortable and big. Rooms were not overcrowded and the stairs made it so nobody disturbed you getting into bed.

Cons: Wasn’t very sociable with other travellers.

Pros: The bed are insanely comfortable, and a proper blanket too. The rooms are clean, good storage for your things, hostel staff are lovely and a lot of near by restaurants, bars ect.

Cons: The girls showers and toilets are only divided by a mirror so there isn’t any privacy and you can see through

Pros: The manager is an awesome human being. So genuine, personable yet professional. Dealt with every issue with exceptional customer service. The beds and pillow are comfortable I slept well. The whole team here is helpful and made my stay here awesome! Thank you!

Worth it for the price

Pros: Easy to get transport and store by walking distance. No need to bring extra universal plug, since the USB plug in provided.

Cons: The item prices is a bit high compared other places.

Pros: Loved this hostel! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The dorms were nice and comfortable. Although I had a bottom bunk I loved the fact that they had a staircase for the upper bunks and not a ladder. Great restaurant onsite and reasonable priced. WiFi good. Free water dispenser. Very clean. The location was also good, short stroll to get to the beach. You can walk along the beach to the walkway that goes all the way along the beach bars. This hostel is currently building a pool which will be great. It’s due to open in January. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hostel, best location close to beach

Pros: Amazing hostel, beautiful rooms with your own space and shared bathrooms with lots of showers and get ready areas.

Pros: I loved stay in White Penny. The room are clean, the bathroom have hot water and good pressure. The toilets are very clean too ! The bed are really comfortable. And the staff was really kind ! I recommend

Comfortable stay

Pros: The location was excellent! The facilities are excellent. The rooms are beautiful, the lockers are spacious and each bed had a plug socket with a built in adapter and USB sockets so you could charge two things at once without needing an adapter. The bathrooms were well equipped however, a lot of things were left behind in the showers and never claimed so it could look a bit messy.

Cons: As someone travelling alone, it can be quite hard to meet new people and there is no real common area for people to socialise except for the benches outside where people smoke. There were also some unexpected visitors in the room… Small ants were regularly spotted on the walls or occasionally on the lower bunk beds.

Pros: loved how modern it was, clean dorms, clean sheets, clean bathrooms, the prettiest hostel ever and felt very safe throughout even though i was a female solo traveller
