Pros: The room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. The pools were clean and enjoyable.

Cons: The back wall blocks the breeze around the pool area so it would get quite hot relaxing by the pool.

Pros: the huge swimming pool, buffet breakfast room was downstairs near reception and was very quiet,

The pool was great and the staff are really kind.

Pros: The pool was great, it had different sections and was lovely and warm. The breakfast was acceptable the coffee needs to be improved a good self-serve espresso / latte machine would be a really good addition. You can order a huge selection of food at the pool bar. We really enjoyed the Burger and the Sushi. There is a small gate at the side of the hotel which gives you access to the beach just a 5 minute walk through the art market next door. The hotel is at a really great position really close to the various restaurants, shops and beach. The free transport from the airport to the hotel is great. This property may be older but it is reasonably maintained.

Cons: I know this isn't a fault of the hotel, however, we were overcome by the smoke from the beach each time a special ceremony by the locals was being conducted on the beach behind the hotel. We stayed for 15 days, and this seemed to be occurring every 3rd day. We upgraded to a suite room on the 5th floor and the views were good. However, there are two fixed panel frosted windows between the lounge area and the bedroom and the light from the lounge room flooded into the bedroom. This made is difficult to sleep when someone was in the lounge room. Also, the remote control of the TV in the lounge room would change the volume or channel in the bedroom due to the windows not blocking the remote-control signal. Given this was a suite room and it had double wash basins it would have been nice to have two soaps for each sink. We would stay here again but not upgrade to the suite as we didn't believe it was of good value. There were two air conditioners in the bedroom and both were noisy, event though the engineering team tried to fix it.

Busy location but peaceful resort

Pros: Great location, brilliant staff, heaps of different choose of restaurants delivered to you what ever area you are sitting. Thank you for the upgrade, spa on the verandah was very special

The staff were really friendly. If you order food from the bar it takes long because it comes from outside.
