Pros: The villa is gorgeous, and set in a tranquil and serene environment, with birds chirping in the mornings. Despite the living space being in the open, it wasn’t hot as you could feel the breeze going through the property. I really like that the 2 bedrooms are basically 2 separate buildings connected by the garden and common living space. There is Netflix provided and we had movie nights when we just wanted to chill. There is a hot/cold filtered water dispenser which really saves us the trouble of having to buy bottled water. Last but not least, Laura, the host, was wonderful and very prompt in answering our queries.
Cons: The property looks like it needs some T&C, as paints are peeling, unsightly stains on the bathroom floors as well as toilet bowl seats that definitely has seen better days. The next few issues are very minor and more of personal preference but it would definitely have elevated my experience in the villa :- 1. Very underpowered hairdryer. It was only 350W, whereas the one I own is 1200W. So basically it took forever to dry my hair. 2. The pillows were too tall for some of us and we ended up not having the best sleep. It would be great if there were 2 types of pillow in each room. 3. We couldn’t find the iron even though it was listed as available at the villa. 4. The lanes leading to the villa are not well lit and we had to use the torchlight on our phones when we were walking back to the property at night. Perhaps, providing a torchlight would be a thoughtful gesture.

A little dated but still an amazing stay! Worth it
Pros: It looks exactly like the photos. They clean the pool every day and change the bed and clean the room. If you want you could cook… we didn’t so I can’t say how much you have there in terms of utensils. The check-in process was easy and communication with host was very good. Overall I would recommend this accommodation and would probably book it again if I were in Changgu again
Cons: It didn’t look very clean unfortunately. You can see signs of “old age” on the walls and the bathroom floor. Some parts of the furniture were dated and need changing! The door leading to the kitchen is not a full door, having openings so we could hear everything outside and bugs could go in.
