Poppies Bali

We had an excellent time in Bali made better by staying at Poppies.

Pros: It was lovely, peaceful and private the property and gardens were beautiful and well maintained the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, loved having breakfast in our private bungalow. We had an excellent tour organised by the property would highly recommend.

Very good would recommend it

Cons: The advertisement wasnt clear about transfer to and from the hotel. I had to walk in the alley way with my luggage to find the hotel as the taxi driver didn't want ti drive in and just drop me off on the side of the legian road.

I changed my itinerary so I could stay there before I left Bali.

Pros: Everything - will return & will recommend. Step inside and you find yourself in another world. You won’t be disappointed. Nothing is a bother for any member of the family - pool is the best I have ever experienced, food excellent, room amazing, tv etc etc etc - go and book it now if you’re going to Kuta .

Cons: You kidding - can not fault .

Poppies, as always for the last 30 years, meeting expectations

Pros: The gardens are paradise and so well maintained. As is the gorgeous pool.

Great stay. I had all the things I like for a Bali holiday.

Pros: Secluded and quiet tropical bungalow with an outdoor bathroom. I also loved breakfast on the balcony each day.

Pros: Such warm welcoming staff, a beautiful oasis in the middle of Kuta. Perfectly located friendly staff beautifully appointed Cottages a reasonable walk from the beach. Poppy‘s restaurant with lovely for breakfast, plenty to choose from we stayed three nights and had evening meals at the restaurant which were lovely. Very engaging staff we were driven to our Next stop by the driver which was two hours away. They also picked up from the airport would recommend

Cons: A perfect oasis in the madness of the surrounding area the lane leading to the property that leads down to the beach is very busy and you are harassed at every point although the people in Bali are very friendly

Serene retreat amid Kuta hustle and bustle

Pros: Poppies Cottages is an island of serenity amidst the Kuta chaos.The cottages are old style Bali thatched, but the facilities in each cottage are all you would ever need. The gardens and pool area are lush,beautiful,and well maintained.Breakfast is served in your cottage or across the lane at the iconic Poppies restaurant Excellent options and quality. The staff are friendly and helpful no matter what war requested,

Cons: Outside the walls of this haven it is a bit frantic This would appeal to most people but not us.
