Villa Katapappa

Great location but peaceful and quiet too

Pros: The location and the villa layout and grounds are amazing

Cons: Was a little difficult to find. Maybe another sign on a pole at the corner of the lane would help.

Pros: The open plan living area around the pool is excellent and the villa overall has everything that we needed.

Cons: The bath towels are old and could do with being replaced. The pool towels were excellent though.

Wonderful - surpassed all expectations

Pros: This villa was absolutely brilliant. The location is about 6 mins stroll to the centre of seminyak. There is a narrow lane about 100m to get to the villa but it is typical of Bali villas. The staff were fabulous and so friendly and helpful. The Villa itself far exceeded our expectations, it was huge with a gorgeous pool and very clean. The breakfast was 5$ each and was freshly prepared by the staff and it was lovely. They organised a daily driver (buddi) to take us around Bali and too and from the airport for a very reasonable fee he was so knowledgeable and friendly and waited for us at various excursions. The house manager and her assistant were so nice, helpful and organised laundry and went above and beyond when one of our family was ill. They also allowed us a late check out as our flight was very late on the last day which was incredibly kind and made our long journey home to Ireland so much easier. Thank you !

Pros: Amazing Location, very easy to find and get to all places of interest from the villa. Space and privacy was excellent. Pool size was huge, which is hard to find, so that was a bonus. Lussy the housekeeper was brilliant and accommodated all our needs and went over and above to help us with any queries.

Cons: The garden could of done with a little more maintenance and upkeep it had been let go in comparison to the rest of the villa's standards. It certainly didn't take away from our stay, but it would of made the Villa a more 5 star experience and the Balinese gardens play such an important role in the design factor, it is also the first thing you see on arrival at the entrance.

We had a great time at this villa and would recommend it to others.

Pros: The villa was in a great location that was close to numerous restaurants, but away from the main streets. The lounge and pool area was perfect for spending the day relaxing as a family. The villa had a great layout for a family of 6 adults. We all had our own space.

Cons: It was a little disappointing that there was construction on the adjacent property. Building work was happening every day from quite early to well into the evening.

Pros: The villa exceeds all expectations!! This place really is as beautiful as the pictures and actually looks bigger than the photos. It is a little difficult to find but in a great location to get to all bars/restaurants whilst still feeling secluded and private. The daily maid lucy is so lovely and helpful and arini the manager couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible, arini even posted our postcards back home once we had left due to the post office being shut when we tried. Thankyou for making our trip to bali so special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if staying with a group in Seminyak.

Pros: Perfect location, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, markets, beach etc. The Villa has very spacious living areas and the pool size is exceptional. Villa was cleaned daily to a high standard, Lussy (the maid) is lovely. A bonus was having drinking water supplied daily.

Cons: Address is a little hard to find initially for taxis and food delivery. More signage on both walls at the start of the lane might help.
