Kupu Kupu Jimbaran Beach Hotel & Spa by L’Occitane

A happy if somewhat faded surroundings

Pros: Spacious if needing a re-fit. Value for money most certainly.

We spent a really nice time in Kupu kupu hotel very welllocztre close to the sea and surf school by walking

Pros: Nice place, really beautiful bedrooms, really spacious.

Cons: It is sad because the hotel is beautiful, the bedrooms are really nice and confortable, the staff is nice and helpful but there is a lack of care in the global hotel, in the wall and we start seeing a lot of small details broken in common areas.

Amazing little gem!

Pros: The staff were excellent! Caring & considerate. Yoga is a star. The therapist, Eni, at the spa, is a special lady!

Cons: Toilet is a bit outdated.

Pros: Rooms were huge and the 2 rooms we had were right in front of pool. Also, dining room was easy access from the rooms. I believe the hotel was once a 5star but needs to be upgraded a little to make it 5star again but apart from that we enjoyed our stay and staff are excellent.

Incredible hotel and spa in the heart of Jimbaran

Pros: We LOVED our stay at Kupu Kupu! The hotel is gorgeous and our rooftop villa was right outside the main pool, which our kids utilised a lot. Breakfast is fantastic with many options and both the Tandoor and Italian restaurants downstairs are top-notch. We did not expect the free golf buggy shuttle service to the beach, that was a lovely surprise, as well as the free transfer to the airport. Highlight was definitely the Bamboo Spa by L’Occitane, absolutely stunning and I had a beautiful foot massage and facial, highly recommend! All the staff are amazing, we would definitely visit again :)

Cons: The dark wood in the rooms, but that's just a personal preference.

Wonderful

Pros: Can not fault this hotel. Amazing staff, superb - you name it!!!! My Mum has to stayed at the hotel for a day whilst myself and my children went to Nusa Penida island for a day. The staff were so very kind and looked after my Mum very well. I'm so grateful for their hospitality. The location is great as it is just around the corner from our favourite Jimbaran seafood! Breakfast was good too, plenty of choices.

A lovely short stay with a delicious breakfast

Pros: A great experience for our family of 7. The kindness and service by the staff was amazing. Breakfast was excellent and the private beach at Jimbaran Beach Club was very good. Our sincere thanks to everybody at Kupu Kupu and especially the Manager, Henry.

Spacious Rooms, Amazing Staff, and a Slice of Bali Bliss

Pros: Kupu Kupu Jimbaran was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had such an authentic Balinese feel—it felt like stepping into a little oasis. The staff were wonderful—genuinely warm, attentive, and always happy to help. The infinity pool? Stunning. I could’ve floated there all day pretending I had no emails to return. Only one tiny surprise: no toilet spray! For a place that nails every other detail so well, I half expected a gold-plated one! Still, a fantastic stay and I’d return in a heartbeat.
