A thoughtful and comfortable stay overall, with a few moments that could be improved.
Pros: I really appreciated the seamless airport transfer provided by Mövenpick. The ride to the hotel was comfortable, and the driver communicated with us in clear English in a friendly and respectful way. He made conversation to get to know us while still giving us space to rest during the trip. The car was also nicely air‑conditioned, which added to the comfort. We were warmly welcomed at reception with hospitable and personalised service, including refreshing welcome drinks and cold towels. I was delighted by the surprise room upgrade given to my husband and me. I was also touched by the thoughtful birthday greeting from the staff, along with a lovely cake from the Mövenpick Café. Our room was well air‑conditioned, the breakfast offered a nice variety, and we enjoyed the spa and bar as well. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable experience.
Cons: One thing we found a little uncomfortable during our stay was that many staff members assumed we were locals. While we understood this was meant as a compliment, it became challenging for us to keep saying “English please” whenever we were spoken to in the local language. We never wanted to come across as degrading or dismissive, but it still felt awkward each time. This happened, for example, when we arrived for the Chocolate Hour and were approached by a staff member, who kindly greeted us but spoke to us in Balinese. I didn’t know how to respond at first except with a confused expression before eventually asking for English, which made me feel uneasy. It was also a bit awkward for my husband and me when we had just arrived in Bali, were still tired from travelling, and had limited time to enjoy the Chocolate Hour. During that time, we were approached several times by the sales team offering to show us other Accor hotels on another day. We appreciated the discount offers, but we were on a tight schedule and not yet in the right headspace to consider any additional plans. We politely declined and eventually had to explain our full itinerary for the representative to understand that we genuinely couldn’t commit. After that, we appreciated that she allowed us to enjoy the rest of our time. She remained friendly and continued to smile sincerely despite our polite refusal, which we truly valued.

Pros: The breakfast buffet was just perfect!! And the The pool is heaven, you could spend the whole day in the pool. The rooms were properly kept clean. Friendly staff!!
Cons: The roof top closed early in most of the time whilst we were there.

Great hotel for families
Pros: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Movenpick Resort Bali—100% recommend for families seeking a relaxing getaway with little ones! Our 2-year-old daughter loved the kids’ club, splash pool, and spacious family rooms, while enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffets, and top-notch service. The staff went above and beyond to make our holiday stress-free and memorable.

We will be back! Third time to Bali and the best by far!
Pros: The staff are so effortlessly attentive and just down right fabulous they really made the holiday relaxing and enjoyable and it wasn’t just one or two of them it was the whole crew! Well done team! The resort was a dream to stay at. Multiple pools to keep the grandkids happy, we had so much fun. The food was fantastic every day and throughout the day. It didn’t matter if it was part of the breakfast buffet, poolside or evening meals the quality was great. ….and don’t even get me started on the free chocolate hour 😍 and the rooftop bar for happy hour and tacos 😍😍😍 I’m going to try to get all the family back there for Christmas one year!
Cons: It would be great to have a hairdresser on site or at Samasta 😊

Pros: Excellent resort, spacious rooms. Great amenities for kids. Clean pools. Staff were very friendly throughout the resort. Taking time to meet you and greet you throughout the day
Cons: Breakfast buffet needs to be looked over. The layout is scattered and options are somewhat limited

Being originally from Switzerland, Mövenpick is a very famous brand and did not disappoint me!
Pros: Very nice Breakfast and variety on offer. Fresh fruits, prepared and cooked food, Continental, Asian and Indonesian offerings.

Great facilities for children and overall a nice hotel to stay at.
Pros: Fantastic kids facilities, clean and comfortable rooms. Good location for beach access throughout the daytime and shuttle services if required. Chocolate hour, inflatables, kids club and other activities were the best part of this stay for the kids.
Cons: Service could be improved on with a more timely manner.
