Grand Istana Rama Hotel

Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Good ac and handy to have a fridge in room. Really enjoyed the pool, also the gym although it was closed the last couple of days as they were installing more equipment. Had an excellent massage, although it was a little odd that an “in-room” massage was in a different room. (Set up as a spa room.)

Cons: The wifi strength was okay but for some reason it kept dropping out and I had to log back in.

Perfect for a week in Kuta

Pros: Everything was perfect! The pool area, the food and very comfortable beds. Close to all the shops and restaurants and bars and beach.

Pros: Very helpful staff, place is lovely and relaxing. Feels like you are in nature there.

Cons: Rooms are a little outdated and no lifts

Pros: Very close to beachwalk mall. Large rooms and friendly staff.

My first trip to Bali was memorable, and left me wanting to return again.

Pros: The hotel's location is perfect for families. Across the road is Kuta Beach, next door is the Beachwalk Mall (with a supermarket and food courts), and Kuta Square (KFC, McDonald's) is a short walk away. The staff and facilities at the hotel are exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kuta, Bali. A shout out to Mandiez and Made for making me feel very welcome at the hotel.

Cons: Kuta Beach was dirty at times with rubbish washed ashore. Great beach for surfers but not ideal for swimmers.

The new gym and activities make this a home away from home

Pros: One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Bali nothing to complain about here

Cons: Staff cannot do enough to make your stay more comfortable n all so friendly

Good value for staying at the hotel, location, pool, friendly staff.

Pros: Very good location in Kuta, walking to beach and all the cafe and restaurants around. Very friendly staff and nice big pool.

Cons: Would be nice if the room conditions updated.

Peaceful oasis in the centre of Kuta

Pros: Fantastic location next to the mall with many eateries, shops and even a cinema! The beach was just across the road. The restaurant had great food and a great band and opened till. Loved the incorporation of nature in the layout of the hotel - there were bird, squirrel and fish feeding stations 😃

Every time I stay there it’s a better experience.
